It’s a good time to get a great deal
We’re four months into 2019, and while automakers did pack on some major incentives to end 2018 on a high note, there are still plenty of great deals for buyers looking to save a few bucks on their next new car purchase in April.
Using data provided by TrueCar.com, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for February. We’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price.
Basically, we’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).

2018 Chrysler 300

The Chrysler 300 is an old-school American sedan, thanks to its rear-wheel-drive format and optional V8 engine.
While the current 300 has been around for awhile now, it’s far from being a performance slouch, and the car’s broad-shouldered exterior design is aging nicely. A 3.6-liter V6 is standard, if you want better mileage. Big, comfortable, and subtly in-your-face, Chrysler’s full-size sedan has plenty of nostalgic appeal.

2018 Hyundai Sonata

The Hyundai Sonata is a midsize family sedan with front-wheel drive and a choice of four-cylinder engines. Sonata delivers plenty of interior space, well-controlled ride/handling qualities, and fuel efficiency.
The Sonata was refreshed with attractive new styling and an impressively revised chassis for the 2018 model year. It comes with a choice of three four-cylinder engines plus hybrid versions. A 2.4-liter engine that makes 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque comes standard on Sonata SE, Sport, and Limited trim levels. A twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is available with Sonata Sport and Limited trims that produces 245 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The fuel-efficiency leader is the Sonata Eco, with a small 178-hp 1.6-liter engine.

2018 Dodge Grand Caravan

The current, fifth-generation Dodge Grand Caravan has been around since the 2008 model year, freshened for 2011, with Stow ‘n’ Go seats improved for 2013. For the 2018 model year, little has changed.
Threatened with extinction, especially after Chrysler launched its far more modern Pacifica minivan for 2017, the Grand Caravan continues to hang onto a tradition-minded corner of the minivan market. While undeniably an old-timer, first launched for 1984, the minivan is helped by a strong V6 engine, spacious interior, and versatile Stow ‘n Go seating.
Value-focused pricing also helps it appeal to budget-minded families. Dodge offers four trim levels: SE, SE Plus, SXT, and GT.
Beneath its stubby hood, the familiar 3.6-liter V6 engine develops 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive is not available.
Minivans are well-known for their flexibility, and the Grand Caravan is no exception. In addition to standard seven-passenger seating, it provides an appealing array of storage possibilities.

2018 Buick Regal TourX

The 2018 Buick Regal TourX wagon handles better than the typical SUV, has loads of space for people and their stuff, and it’s low enough to put whatever doesn’t fit inside onto the roof.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is standard, producing 250 horsepower and an especially noteworthy 295 pound-feet of torque that gets the 3,708-pound TourX moving with authority.
As an off-roadish wagon, though, it’s a bit lame. And as a premium vehicle, it really isn’t. In other words, the TourX is in essence quite good – it should just drop the pretenses.

2018 Ford Focus

The Ford Focus is an extroverted compact car that handles well and can go uptown. It comes as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback, in a number of powertrains and trims that broaden the appeal, ranging from economy car to luxury car to muscle car. There’s even a Focus Electric model that gets 105 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent).
The 2018 Focus is in its eighth year of this generation.
The base engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with direct injection and variable valve timing, making 160 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. Those stats don’t sound big but there’s plenty of pep. The transmission is either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed dual-clutch automatic that has issues. It gets 31 miles per gallon combined.
There’s also a turbocharged three-cylinder with the tiny displacement of 1.0 liters, making 123 horsepower, a lot less than the 2.0 liter, but with the same torque. It’s less quick but gets 34 mpg with its 6-speed manual transmission (one more gear than the 2.0 liter because it needs it, to keep the revs up). With the available 6-speed automatic it gets 2 less mpg, which is only 1 mpg more than the 2.0-liter engine with the manual. Any advantage to the three-cylinder engine fades in the Focus, although that’s not so in the smaller and lighter Ford Fiesta.

2018 Buick LaCrosse

The Buick LaCrosse is moving fast in its own reinvention, as a front-wheel-drive flagship four-door sedan. It was totally redesigned for 2017 (and well received).
The new 2018 LaCrosse eAssist uses a hybrid powertrain. The mild hybrid uses a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and one electric motor with a small lithium-ion battery pack. Unlike a full hybrid, for example the Toyota Avalon, the LaCrosse can’t run all-electric. LaCrosse eAssist is EPA-rated at 25/35 mpg City/Highway, or 29 mpg Combined.
The available 3.6-liter V6, meanwhile, gets a new 9-speed automatic transmission for 2018, replacing an 8-speed, and the availability of all-wheel drive has been expanded to two models.
LaCrosse isn’t a luxury car, it’s a premium American road car, but it’s good enough to make you wonder if a luxury car is worth it. In its third reborn generation, the Buick LaCrosse has established an identity. Its premium and near-luxury competitors fade into the crowd: Lexus ES 350, Toyota Avalon, Nissan Maxima, Acura TLX, Hyundai Azera. Another competitor, the Chrysler 300, also has an identity, as well as a face that stands out from the crowd.
The relatively long wheelbase of the LaCrosse gives it the stance of a rear-wheel-drive car, even though it is front-wheel drive. The V6 makes an impressive 310 horsepower and 282 pound-feet of torque. The engine was designed with Stop/Start technology, as opposed to that capability being added, and it’s almost invisible. The entry-level model looks and feels nearly as rich as the Premium, with convincing leatherette upholstery.
Fuel economy for the 2018 LaCrosse with the 3.6-liter V6 and new 9-speed transmission is rated at 21/30 mpg City/Highway, 24 mpg Combined. With all-wheel drive, it’s 20/29/23 mpg.

2018 Nissan Titan

This is the second generation of Nissan’s full-size pickup, and it followed the launch of the Titan XD heavy-duty model, which is also heavily discounted. Despite sharing a name, Titan and Titan XD actually have little in common other than their bold appearance.
All 2018 Nissan Titan models come with the 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine rated at 390 horsepower and 394 foot-pounds of torque. Paired with a 7-speed automatic, the Titan’s powerplant delivers quick acceleration performance. It’s rated at 15 mpg city/21 mpg highway/18 mpg Combined, with 2WD.
Titan is available in regular and Crew Cab versions. The truck’s bed is equipped a tie-down system that makes dealing with different types of cargoes easier. An integrated trailer-brake controller easily operated from the dash provides the driver with more accurate stopping than aftermarket systems.

2019 Ram 1500 >

The Ram 1500 is all new for 2019, but the 2018 edition, which this discount applies to, carries over for a little while badged as the Ram Classic and is still a very nice truck. Its styling is distinctive, and most of the Ram models deliver a segment-best ride. A 3.6-liter V6 comes standard on all models. A 5.7-liter V8 Hemi is optional. All come with an eight-speed automatic.
Crew Cab versions are the most popular for their roomy back seats. Bed lengths range from 6-feet, 4-inches, or 5-feet, 7-inches on Crew Cab and Quad Cab models, to the full 8 feet with Regular Cabs.
Interiors range widely by trim level. It’s functional and comfortable on base models. Upper levels are outfitted in handsome fabrics and leathers with impressive attention to detail, making them very nice vehicles in which to spend time.
The Ram 1500 lineup includes the SLT, Big Horn, Lone Star, Laramie, Outdoorsman, Sport and Limited.
